Personal gripe on "near variable focus" computer glasses. I have used near variable focus glasses such as Sola Access for hundreds of patients over the last few years. My feeling is that there are several disturbing issues about them: 1. The lenses assume an intermediate distance for the computer screen which is approximately at arm' length.
