Nor so called 40W laser ever was 40W nor 10-12cm longer laser is 50W. 700mm long chinese lasers are really 30-32W when new. Tested on dozens so called 40W machines. Also 50W old type chinese laser must be 1000mm long. Old type means 50-55mm dia. Regards
