Laser cutter/engraver not moving along the Y axis- ebay laser engraver not working ,I changed the X and Y motor driver plugs over. The result was the Y axis buttons on the machine that usually moved the laser head along the Y axis now moved the laser head along the X axis (as expected). Before that,you said the x axis does not work,so the left one (controlling the x motor)should get a flashing red light. After swapping,the right blue driver is getting a flashing red light,then left one is working fine to control the Y motor. It seems more likely the x motor is fault. Please first check if the x limit switch is working well or not.

So I have a 50w laser from eBay and it has been going fine for months. The yesterday it was doing an engraving and the laser stopped being produced suddenly. Everything else is working. Moving like a laser should be coming out. But nadda. Water temperature was only 70.1° F so wasn't over heating. That was yesterday.

hi guys. had an eBay laser engraver for a while with no issues until one day it stopped working. I have replaced both power packs. main board and display. there is power getting to internal light, fan and work bed moves up and down. the lights are on both power packs but not y and x axis boxes.
